Be mindful of timing when sending your wish list of attractions so you are not disappointed if you can’t fit everything into the duration of your stay. Please state if you require ‘guided’ or ‘self-guided’ tours and ensure you book into programs at attractions that support your curriculum focus.

There are no hidden extra costs when quoted for Unearth-Ed School Excursions. Our tours are fully inclusive and the costs are based on paying students and free supervisors. Tour prices may be altered at the discretion of the company due to external influences.

To confirm a quotation and create a formal booking, a non-refundable deposit per school is required. Deposits are due within 2 weeks of receiving your invoice. The exact deposit amount will be advised by your tour co-ordinator at the time of booking.

We can arrange whichever mode of transport you prefer, depending on your school’s location. We utilise Virgin Australia and Qantas for your flights and various coach companies. We also offer coach transport whilst in Canberra to meet your budget requirements.

We provide a variety of accommodation options so when making your booking, kindly indicate the type of accommodation your school requires. Most of our accommodations include a meal package, so please ensure to communicate any dietary or religious requirements of students to ensure their needs are met.

Pack appropriately based on the weather conditions, and ensure that each student is responsible for managing their own belongings and luggage. If you are unsure about whether the accommodation provides linen, please check with our team so you can inform the students if they need to bring sleeping bags, towels or linen.
