At Unearth-Ed, our dedicated staff frequently travel to Canberra (3 to 4 times a year) to personally inspect accommodation options, ensuring the best selection for each school's needs. As a friendly team, we take pride in delivering the highest level of service, and every school is assigned a personalised tour coordinator to assist from beginning to end. With 30 years of experience as a travel company, we boast strong working relationships with our suppliers, who consistently support us in every way possible. Parliament and Civics Education Rebate is an initiative of the Australian Government which provides some financial assistance for students across Australia to travel to Canberra. Unearth-Ed make sure to book all mandatory PACER attractions (Parliament House, Old Parliament House and/or Electoral Education Centre and Australian War Memorial). We understand how important it is to travel with a great coach driver, so at Unearth-Ed we always make sure that you will travel with a safe, knowledgeable and friendly coach company. All drivers have their “Working with Children.”

We only use Qantas or Virgin Australia, and we will make sure to provide you with the most cost effective option.

More and more Australian schools travel to Canberra, therefore to get the best itinerary and availability, we recommend you book at least 1 to 2 years in advance. The further in advance you book the higher chance you have of securing your preferred accommodation and attractions.

Mainly the students are placed in 4, 6, 8 or 10 shared rooms. Most accommodation places provide linen, if not, we will let you know about it. Teachers are placed in twin rooms unless you request teachers to have their own single rooms (at extra cost).

Final Payment must be made once you have your final number of students (no later than 4 weeks prior to travelling). In your tour pack, we include easy to fill out forms, Final Numbers, Gender Breakdown and Dietary Requirements. These forms must be returned to Unearth-Ed no less than 3 weeks prior to travel to arrange your room allocation and dietary meals.
